Thirty years ago, Stormwater360's journey began with a single idea.
On the 1st of August 1996, the first EnviroPod® Filter patent was filed in New Zealand. It marked the beginning of a mission to develop practical engineering solutions that would improve stormwater quality and help protect our waterways.
As we celebrate our 30th anniversary, that single patent has evolved into a New Zealand owned and operated company with a comprehensive portfolio of stormwater treatment technologies. To mark this milestone, we reflected on the journey from patent to portfolio, the lesson learned over three decades, and what the future holds for stormwater management for Water New Zealand.
Our journey has only been possible because of the support of our clients, partners, suppliers, and the wider stormwater industry.
