The Nutrient Problem – Phosphorus and Nitrogen Removal in Stormwater

Nutrients in stormwater are often overlooked in New Zealand. Reduction targets for Phosphorus and Nitrogen have been set for some eutrophic lakes, but the impact of point source and non-point source discharges is still being understood across the country. Although there are proposed solutions for removing nutrients from stormwater, are they achieving the performance we are expecting?

Join Jeremiah Lehman, regional regulatory manager for Contech Engineered Solutions in the USA, as he explores the impact of nutrients on our environment and presents the latest research on nutrient removal from stormwater using innovative technological solutions.
