Restoring Rosedale Park Cleanup Day

The Stormwater360 team is delighted to be part of a community-led project aimed at restoring and supporting biodiversity at Rosedale Park in Albany, near our office.

For the past few years, we have been actively involved in this initiative, which covers a 10,000m² area within the park. The project uses bio-organic principles to rejuvenate the land and the adjacent Alexander Stream, with the ultimate goal of creating a thriving ecosystem where biodiversity can flourish and the local community can connect with nature.

The project has received several prestigious awards, including the Kmara Awards, Hockey NZ Awards, Harbour Sports Excellence Awards, and the Auckland Women4Climate Mentorship Programme.

We invite everyone to join us in this local cause. Whether you are part of the Albany community or simply care about community spaces, your support is crucial in enhancing the sustainability and environmental well-being of the area. There are various ways to get involved, from volunteering to contributing services, equipment, or funds, as well as spreading awareness about the project. Every bit of support makes a significant difference in driving the success of this endeavour.
